An intimate home wedding in our flagship city. Three generations, one bridal morning, no rush.
Diya's wedding was small, deliberate, and entirely at home — three generations of family in her grandmother's house in the old quarter. We arrived at 5 AM. The bridal suite was a converted study; the lighting was a single north-facing window. Her mother and grandmother sat beside her through every minute of preparation.
The look was traditional Maharashtrian — the nath, the green-gold paithani, the haldi-glow base that referenced both ritual and photography. Restraint was the entire conversation. By 8 AM, three generations of women were dressed, photographed, and ready for the muhurat.
