Five days at the Taj Lake Palace. Heritage, photography, and a bridal team that travelled the entire week.
Mira's wedding was a five-day affair at the Taj Lake Palace in Udaipur — mehendi at the City Palace, sangeet on a barge, bridal morning in a heritage suite overlooking the water. Our team flew in three days before to acclimatise, scout the bridal-suite lighting, and run a final trial with Mira's photographer present.
Each day's styling referenced the palette of the venue itself: the saffron of the City Palace courtyards for mehendi; deep emerald and antique gold for the bridal morning; ivory and pearl for the reception. The bridal day itself was photographed in the suite's original 18th-century light wells — no flash, no reflectors, just the morning sun and Lake Pichola.
